You Just Never Know

So, I was not feeling up to much today. I had not planned anything for dinner and I had an OB appointment at 6:30pm. So, I was looking for a quick fix. I made penne pasta with spaghetti sauce out of a jar, Brussels sprouts and green beans. Emily had three helpings! She ate eight Brussels sprouts. After her second helping she asked quite seriously, "Mama, can you please make this again sometime? I really like it." I hate Brussels sprouts! When I spend 1 1/2 hours cooking she pushes the food around her plate and only finishes so she can have dessert. Go figure.
